Council for Responsible Genetics (CRG) Biography

Position:
Not Clearly Pro or Con to the question "Is Sexual Orientation Determined at Birth?"
Reasoning:

“The fundamental question remains, why are we having this debate in the first place? Sexual orientation, like any other human behavior, is experienced in complex and variable ways, which are undoubtedly influenced by both biological and societal factors…. but we need to recognize that this focus on what causes individuals to be lesbian or gay arises from homophobia.”
